ALOHA
Means "hello" (or "goodbye") in Hawaiian. It also means love and fellowship. Born and raised in Honolulu, I learned to foster and share aloha with others around me. This is an attitude I have continued to cultivate even though Hawaii is so many miles away. With much aloha, mahalo (thank you) for visiting my website.
ACADEMIC & PROFESSIONAL JOURNEY
I began life after High School much like many others, with aspirations to become an artist. Unfortunately, financial strain in the wake of 2008's Great Recession steered me away from a creative path to a more technical one. I worked as an Appliance Technician for 12 years, managing teams of technicians and even running my own company for a brief time.
After moving to Utah, my sights were set on a new, exciting career in tech. Returning to college in my mid-30's has been a challenge, but is deeply rewarding. On track to finishing a BS in Computer Science at Westminster College, I have found programming as the perfect opportunity to apply my years of technical problem-solving skills and flex my creative muscles.

ISLAND ROOTS
While in Hawaii, I enjoyed going to the beach. Living in Utah, that's not really an option, but there are so many beautiful places to explore!
